About Me:

Hey there, I'm Steve Barkley, the insurance agent for Clinton Township, Michigan, Macomb county and surrounding areas. Most will know me as the tattooed insurance guy or a good chance of either being a former teacher or coach to many in the area. I have been an agent since agent since 2017.

I grew up in the Roseville area until I went to college at Concordia University River Forest, IL where I was lucky enough to play three collegiate sports (Football, Basketball, and Track) and graduate with my Bachelors degree. I moved back to the Warren area and continued my education with a Masters degree from University of Detroit Mercy, and a Doctorate in Education from North Central University.

Since 2007, I have been the Head Freshman Football Coach at Warren Mott High School, and a member of their football staff since 2003. I am married and have a very busy son who wants to play every sport he can. I am currently busy coaching my son in youth wrestling or any other sport he plays at the time and working hard to train a crazy 5-year-old who loves to run away. Prior to spending my time being a sport's dad, I used to compete in Strongman events around the United States. I still help the sport as much as I can, often as a judge at local competitions and I still train but just not as much which means I don't get to compete as much as I would like.
